BJP failed to develop Jammu East: Vikram

JAMMU, June 23: The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) general secretary, Vikram Malhotra today said that BJP has failed to develop Jammu East.
He said this while visiting Christian Colony of Ward No 7, where he interacted with the inhabitants of the area and also took stock of various problems being faced by the people.
Besides issues of deplorable condition of lanes and drains, the people of the area also brought into notice that the condition of streetlight is in deteriorated condition and need immediate repairs.
While speaking on the occasion, Malhotra said that the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and Jammu being developed as a smart city lies exposed before the people. He said that BJP is selective in its approach towards development.
He said the condition of lanes and drains shows that the Ward No 7 has been neglected in the last 4 years of BJP rule. Vikram urged upon the Municipal authorities to immediately act in the values or Congress party would be forced to take to streets.
The locals urged Vikram Malhotra for the personal intervention into all the issues discussed with him for redressal of the same at the earliest. Vikram assured the people of the area that their local issues/demands shall personally be brought into the notice of the concerned authority for early action.
Nassir Masih (chairman), Michael Wazir, Jacob Gill, Rewal, Frodey Sachin, Shan Gill, Peter, Saleem Sotra and Shani were the prominent among those who put forth their demands to PCC general secretary.
