BAS inaugurated in DC office Kathua

KATHUA, Apr  2 : To ensure punctuality and discipline in offices, District Development Commissioner Ramesh Kumar   inaugurated Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System (BAS) in  DC office complex here today.
The initiative has been developed by National Informatics Centre and is user friendly as the employees can mark their attendance simply by entering the last 8 digits of their Aadhaar number and thereafter imprinting any one of their fingers on the biometric attendance device.
Speaking on the occasion, the  DDC exhorted upon the officers to ensure prompt public service delivery and improve work culture to redress the public grievances   efficiently in time bound manner.
DIO NIC, Sideshwar Bhagat highlighted the features of newly introduced attendance system.
ADDC Manmohan Singh, AC, Rahul Yadav and other officers were also present on the occasion.
