RAJOURI, Sept 2: A young villager was electrocuted in Budhal tehsil of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman identified the deceased as Shabir Ahmed (33), son of Mohd Din Dodhi, resident of village Dramman in Budhal. The villager got trapped in 11 KV power line and received severe electric shocks near his home village today.
With multiple burn and other injuries and was rushed to nearby Army unit dispensary. He was provided first- aid there and later shifted to Budhal hospital, where doctors declared him as dead. His body after postmortem and performing legal formalities, was handed over to the family for last rites. He is survived by young wife and two minor children. Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
