JAMMU, Apr 24: A workshop on the management of bio medical waste and sanitation was organized at CHC Akhnoor under the supervision of Dr Vinod Kumar, Block Medical Officer, Akhnoor.
The workshop was inaugurated by Rajeev Sharma, MLA Akhnoor and attended by doctors and para medical staff including pharmacists and ASHA workers.
The lectures on the topics were delivered by Dr Vinod Kumar besides Sanitary Inspectors, Poonam and Rohit.
The workshop concluded with presentation of appreciation certificates to ANM/ASHA workers for making India Polio free.
