JAMMU, Feb 20: APJ Abdul Kalam Human Welfare Foundation organised a six day workshop for civil service aspirants which culminated today with the participation of 102 aspirants.
DDC Poonch, Rahul Yadav was the chief guest whereas various civil society members, district administration officials were also part of the valedictory programme.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Poonch talked about the preparations strategies for civil services exams and said that district administration would provide all possible help to serious aspirants who sincerely want to opt civil service as their career.
He also awarded certificates of participation to all the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Waheed Ahmed, Deputy Director Employment appreciated the efforts of Kalam Foundation and said that these initiatives are need of the hour and aspirants must take full benefit of these workshops organized by Kalam Foundation more often.
Others who were present on the occasion were S. Surjan Singh, Secretary Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee; Senior Lecturer Haroon Rathore, Chairman Zia Ul Uloom Group of Institutions Maulana Sayeed A Habib, Senior PDP Leader Bashir Ahmed Khaki, Vice Chairman JKRET Forum J&K Najam Jafferi and others.
Chairman Kalam Foundation Khalil A Banday while presenting welcome address apprised the audience, aspirants and guests about the work done by Foundation in the past three years.
