JAMMU, Jan 30: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association held a protest rally under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali in support of their long pending demands here today.
The Association members were demanding release of pending dues for which they were struggling for last five years. They have appealed the Governor N N Vohra for early redressal of their demands which include release of 126 slabs of COLA since January 2006 and pending arrears since 1999 and pending arrears of 6th Pay Commission due from January 2006.
Other members Balwinder Singh, Gulshan Singh, Suraj Singh, D N Sharma, Surjit Singh, Sain Mohd, Kulbir Singh and Sat Bhushan were also present.
