Viklang Chhatra Trust to ameliorate lot of Pak firing victims

JAMMU, Feb 14: Viklang Chhatra Trust Old Care Society (Regd) has made a fervent appeal to the Governor  N.N. Vohra to ameliorate the living conditions of the victims of unprovoked Pakistani firing from across the border by providing them financial support  and proper compensation.
Satya Pal Saraf,Organizer of VCT, a non-Government voluntary organization working for the cause and care of the Physically challenged and elderly since 1980 in a letter  addressed to the Governor said that a sizeable number of victims belonging to Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Poonch and Rajouri districts  bordering LoC and International Border have been rendered permanently disabled due to heavy mortar shelling of Pak rangers . They were given paltry amount of Rs.5000 for treatment whereas many of them have sold their all valuables for their treatment.
