JAMMU, Aug 22: Presentation Convent Jammu conducted Environment Week with a message ‘Each One Plant One, Go Green Go Clean’, here today.
The members of Eco Club of the school conducted various assemblies during the event.
The motto was to emphasize the importance of keeping our environment clean and green. Global warming, air and water pollution, importance of water and energy conservation were some of the issues which were laid stress upon.
A skit was performed by the members of Eco Club on the ‘deteriorating conditions of the environment’ which was highly praised and applauded. A quiz was conducted by the students of class 9th on the same theme presided by Sr Alba and Sr Marie.
De weeding of the front lawn of the school was done enthusiastically by the students of class 7th.
A class to class message was sent by the Eco warriors to keep the surroundings clean.
