UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: To help the victims of floods and landslides, All J&K +2 Lecturer Forum district Udhampur handed over cheque as donation amounting to Rs 41,000 to the District Administration Udhampur for further distribution among the affected families of the district.
On the occasion, Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal thanked All J&K +2 Lecturer Forum for their donations. He also impressed upon the Education Department to put in their efforts to raise and mobilize resources to enable the District Administration to help the much needy flood victims.
He also appealed to Education as also other departments to come forward and contribute more and more for the recently affected victims of the district.
Among others present on the occasion, included president All J&K +2 lecturer Forum, Arunesh Kumar, general secretary Ashok Kumar, vice president Ashwani Kumar, Tehsil head of the Forum, Mohan Lal Sharma and other members of the Forum.
