JAMMU, Mar 12: PHE Workers Welfare Association ( Jammu) has urged upon the higher authorities to release the pending wages of the temporary/ consolidated workers and also conduct DPC of all cadres.
In a meeting of the Association held here today, its general secretary Subhash Verma warned the higher authorities to address the pending issues of the employees by March 15, otherwise, they will be forced to launch agitation. He demanded release of pending wages of permanent and other temporary employees, conduct of DPC of all cadre. He said in Akhnoor division all the employees are without wages for the last two months. He gave ultimatum to the Govt to launch agitation if the demands are not met by March 15.
Senior members Ram Lubhaya, Surjit Singh, Manzoor Ali, Kulbhushan Nanda and Lal Chand were also present.
