3 drug peddlers arrested

SRINAGAR, Mar 12: Continuing its drive, Police arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered huge quantity of contraband substances from their possession at Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district today.
A police spokesman said that after acting on specific information, police arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered 680 capsules of Spasmoproxyvan and 24 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from their possession.
The accused were identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sofi alias Man Dab, Muneer Ahmad Shah, both residents of Neharpora Sopore and Farhan Hameed Shah, a resident of Noorbagh Sopore during a naka checking near Dumna Complex Neharpora.
He said a case FIR number 49/2018 under Section 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
