JAMMU, June 29: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today urged the chairman of 7th Pay Commission (PC) to expedite the completion of 7th PC recommendations to avoid any delay in implementation of its recommendations in favour of both Central and State Government employees as well as pensioners.
In a memorandum sent to chairman of 7th PC, Justice (retd) Ashok Kumar Mathur, NMC president, Subhash Shastri demanded that keeping in view the rising cost of living, the PC should effectively formulate strategies to deal with constantly lends of inflation and HRA/CCA/Education allowance for children and bonus issues besides the annual increment structure of the employees.
Shastri appealed Mathur to recommend the Commission report to State Governments also so that the gap arising out of implementations of the 7th PC recommendations does not heavily go against the interests of State Government employees and pensioners.
He further said that Central Government should earmark special funds for recommending implementations as many states like J&K may not in a position to implement the same out of limited budgetary resources.
