SRINAGAR: Following an incident of fire that broke out at Nalbal, Nowshera, here Saturday morning, in which four residential houses were gutted, the affected, including nine families, were provided immediate relief and shelter by the Revenue department of the district on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah.
The quick response by the Fire & Emergency Services of the district ensured that the adjoining houses were saved from the fast growing fire.
Meanwhile, the district administration has appealed the general public of the district to be cautious while using electrical heating appliances and electronic gadgetry susceptible to short circuits, adding that undue load on electrical wires is a major cause of fire during winters.
