NEW DELHI: Managing Director of National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) Sanjeev Kumar Chandha today called on Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura here in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to marketing of various agricultural products that are being produced in Jammu and Kashmir.
It was decided during the meeting that NAFED will help the Agro industry in better marketing of honey, apricots, walnuts, Rajmas and other products. The NAFED will also help AGRO in new packaging techniques to its products.
During the meeting it was also decided that NAFED will open a sub office in Srinagar to increase its presence in the state.
Hanjura directed MD AGRO to visit NAFED facility centre in New Delhi and accordingly draw a plan for packaging, marketing of agricultural products that are being produced through NAFED outlets across the country.
