JAMMU, Nov 13: Talab Tillo police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Talab Tillo Police Post laid a naka at Paloura and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered 39 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested the rider.
A case under FIR Number 168/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo Police Post SI Sumit Sharma and assisted by ASI Abdul Salam made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat, SDPO West Pranav Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
