KISHTWAR, July 4: To protest against the suppression and harassment of nationalist forces in the State, shops and business establishments today remained closed in Doda district including Kishtwar, Thathri, Premnagar, Doda and other areas on the call of the BJP.
In Kishtwar a massive protest rally was led by Sunil Sharma (National Executive Member-BJYM) and Capt (retd). Hukum Chand (Ex Distt president) from BJP office Char Chinar to DC office Kishtwar. The protesters raised slogans against the Chief Minister and MoS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo.
Addressing protestors Mr Sharma said that present NC regime is rapidly losing the ground in the State and the frustration among its leaders is evident from the fact that an environment of hatred and distrust is being created in the whole State.
He said that the police framed Sub Inspector Shiv Krishan Sharma in a fake case on behest of political master who are hell bent to defame the nationalist persons. He threatened to intensify the agitation in case police did not withdraw the case against the cop who had killed over 200 militants in Chenab valley. He said that National Conference Government is hatching conspiracy to defame the nationalist forces and added that the arrest case of Shiv Krishan Sharma in an eye opener in this regard.
While Sharma said that recent statements of CM about AFSPA and Article 370 clearly indicated that NC was again misleading the people and was hell bent to create discord among different regions and communities. In Doda region on the behest of CM the MoS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo is busy in communalizing the region and harassing the nationalist forces, he added.
While addressing the public Capt. (retd) Hukum Chand said that those who sacrificed their everything for the nation are being put behind the bars and anti militants and anti national elements are being sheltered by the Govt.
Kishori Lal Shan (spokes person) said that in this sensitive region of Chinab valley an environment of communal tension, disharmony and discord is being created for the vested and political interests by the NC regime.
