SCOA enhances rates of construction material

JAMMU, July 4:   Stone Crusher Owners Association (Tawi Belt), today decided to hike the rates of building material following the hike in diesel and labour charges.
In a meeting held here under the chairmanship of its president Choudhary Vikarm Randhawa, the stone crusher owners of Tawi belt unanimously decided to raise the prices of their products.
During the meeting it was decided by all the members to hike the rates of products like, Bajri, Kainkra, Sand with immediate effect. The rates of the products have been hiked due to the price rise in spare parts, wages of labourers and hike in diesel prices also, the members alleged.
While briefing the media president of the association said that with the hike in rates of the products, Bajri will be Rs 11 per Sq ft, Kainkra Rs 10 Sq ft and Sand Rs 6 Sq ft.
The association members also decided that all the unit members will adhere to the rules strictly and any unit holder found violating the rule will be charged Rs 50,000 for first act and one lakh on violating the rates second time.
Among others present in the meeting were Rajinder Chib, Shamsher Singh, Sonam Deep Singh, Saudagar Singh, Bubby Sharma, Charan Choudhary, Bharti Sharma, Lal Chand, Ashok Sharma and others.
