Kavinder kick-starts poll campaign, highlights achievements of BJP

JAMMU, Sept 17: Kick starting campaign for Local Body elections, former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta along with MLC Vikram Randhawa today visited Bashir Colony, Bathindi area and highlighted achievements of the BJP.
While addressing the gathering, Kavinder Gupta asked party cadre in the constituency to gear up for the upcoming Municipal elections. He said the elections to the local bodies shall further boost the growth of the State in a very equitable manner.
Highlighting the achievements by BJP in Jammu, former Dy CM lambasted Congress and claimed that the BJP has ensured the implementation of every scheme started by the Narendra Modi led NDA Government at the very ground level. He said that BJP has worked to see that every single scheme reaches the targeted population.
He also prompted the BJP workers of the State in general and Gandhi Nagar constituency in particulars to double their efforts in serving the people of this State and ensure that public again gives decisive mandate in favour of the contesting candidates. He said that the opposition has turned issueless and hence try to play with the public sentiments.
“Some leaders of Congress are befooling the public but they will be shown their place in forthcoming local bodies elections,” he said and lambasted the earlier regimes in the State as well as at Centre for no transparency in funds being provided by the Union Government. “There is complete transparency now and the Narendra Modi Government has given specific stress on the development of State of Jammu & Kashmir,” he added. Vikram Randhawa, while Addressing the gathering, said that every worker of the constituency should come forward and strengthen the party at grass root level and ensure the victory of all the contesting candidates in the upcoming elections.
Both Kavinder and Randhawa were accompanied by Ankush Gupta, Kulbir Charak, Sunil Sharma, Mohd Rafiq, Bashir Khatana, Liaqat Ali, Nayan Gupta and others.
