Justice Aradhe asks advocates to adhere to ethics, conduct rules

SRINAGAR, Sept 19:  State Judicial Academy today organized oath ceremony for newly enrolled 105 Advocates of Kashmir province at State Judicial Academy (SJA) here.
Proceedings were conducted by Abdul Rashid Malik, Director, JKSJA. He welcomed Justice, Alok Aradhe, Chairman, J&K State Judicial Academy, Justice M.K. Hanjura, Member, J&K State Judicial Academy and newly enrolled advocates and deliberated on the need for oath ceremony.
“This event will surely guide the young lawyers towards high constitutional values and service to the society,” he said.
Justice Alok Aradhe, Chairman, J&K State Judicial Academy, administered oath to the newly enrolled advocates.
He stressed upon the newly enrolled advocates to adhere to the ethics and conduct rules. “Judges expect lawyers to be fair, honest and most importantly they should not mislead with facts,” said Justice Aradhe.
During the function, Justice M.K Hanjura shared his experiences with the newly advocates. “The lawyers should keep in mind that laws change from time to time, but not the ethics which they should inculcate in themselves,” he added.
