Jammu artists to participate in art exhibition at Chamba

JAMMU, Sept 26: Three Jammu based artists will participate in an All India Art Exhibition and Nature Sketching & Drawing Workshop at Chamba (Himachal Pradesh).
The event would commence at Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamba on September 27, 2016 and conclude on September 30, 2016. The event is being organized by Himachal Art Heritage, Sunder Nagar (HP), ArtFort India, Chandigarh and VCC, Jammu.
The artists whose works would be put on display in this exhibition are Prabhinder Lall, Chandigarh, Naveen Dhiman, Himachal Pradesh, Sankari Mittra, West Bengal, Jang S Verman, Anuradha Devi and Shivali Jamwal (Jammu & Kashmir).
The mixed works of the senior and young artists will present the prevailing scenario in the field of art in the country. First ever such event in Chamba would reflect to the local people and tourists the mediums, techniques and styles used by some of the Indian artists. Side by side these artists will work on sketching and making drawings on the picturesque view of Chamba and surrounding areas of Himachal Pradesh.
It may be reminded that artists who are taking part in this event are professionally trained ones. They have displayed their art at international and national level platforms many times.
