Jammu, Oct 11: All India Exhibition of Paintings that was organized by J&K Centre for Creative Arts, Jammu and J&K Poshe Cultural Society and in association with Kala Kendra and Cultural Academy, Jammu at Kala Kendra, Jammu on October 9, 2014 to pay homage to the deceased and collect funds for Prime Ministers Relief Fund for flood victims of Jammu & Kashmir, concluded here today. A function was organized on this occasion and V K Samyal, Station Director, Radio Kashmir Jammu was the chief guest.
O P Sharma, Director JKCCA, apprised the chief guest and gave a brief resume of the activities undertaken by JKCCA Speaking on this occasion Samyal appreciated the efforts made by JKCCA and J&K Poshe Cultural Society and hoped for the best of their success in this direction.
Dr. Raj Kumari Magazine, President, JKPCS, Jammu and many artists and intellectuals were present in this function.
Art works by various artists from the State and other States of the country were displayed in this exhibition. The works of senior and well known artists like Bhushan Kesar and Jang S. Verman, Jammu, Prabhinder Lal and Anand Sharma Chandigarh, K S Gill, Dharmender Sharma and Mala Chawla, Amritsar, Pratima Singh, Lucknow, Ashok Mehra Sarvesh Sharma and Reecha Gupta, Jammu etc. and those of the young generation and upcoming artists like  Vaishali Soni, Pathankot, Deepa Soni, Udhampur, Sahil Ohri, Amrit Kaur, Anuradha, Vandana and Shiveta Pandit, Jammu and Gomti Sharma, Amritsar were displayed in this exhibition.
