SRINAGAR, July 31: Joint Coordination Committee of Employees Associations of Jammu and Kashmir State has demanded release of GP Fund to State Government employees.
Senior JCC leader and president J&K College Teachers Association, Prof Tariq Ashai, in a statement requested the State Finance Minister to look into the matter as to why the employees of the State face difficulty in withdrawing their GP Fund.
Prof Ashai said it has been observed that the concerned officers in various treasuries express their inability to release the money due to lack of funds. He urged the Government to release the GP Fund of State Government employees at the earliest.
