JAMMU, Aug 9: Governor NN Vohra has condoled the demise of Faquir Chand Gupta, father of Dr Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Gastroenterologist and former Head of Department (HoD), Medicines, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, who passed away on Monday.
In a message to Dr Gupta, the Governor said he was saddened with the demise of Faquir Chand Gupta.
The Governor prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Gupta was cremated at RS Pura cremation ground yesterday with people from all walks of life attending the last rites.
