JAMMU, May 14: A deputation of All J&K Government Engineering Draftsmen’s Association (EDA), Hydraulic Wing, Jammu province, led by association president, Mahesh Sharma, met Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Choudhary, and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The demands that were discussed with the Minister include promotion of Draftsman to Senior Draftsman, Senior Draftsman to Head Draftsman and Head Draftsman to Head Computer in time bound manner.
The deputation also put forth other demands like DPC clearing, issuance of final seniority list, implementation of court orders with regard to entry level grade of newly appointed Draftsman and reorganization of Draftsman cadre.
