SRINAGAR, Oct 21: Police today said it arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police spokesman said during naka checking at Devsar area of Kulgam, a fruit laden Trawler bearing registration number JK18A-2432 driven by Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani was stopped.
“On checking the vehicle, about 7 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered. Police has registered a case in this regard,” he added.
