KATHUA, June 9: Hatli police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 40 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Police Post Hatli led by Verinder intercepted Etios car bearing registration number JK02BE-3901 at railway road Govindsar.
During checking, police recovered 40 grams heroin from the possession of the driver, who has been identified as Jasbir Singh, son of Kalyan Singh of Nanak nagar Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 203/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Kathua Police Station and investigation started.
