BHADERWAH, Dec 26: Three persons including a driver received injuries, when the truck they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a nallah at Basti area here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02R-9015 was on its way from Thantera to Bhaderwah town, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into 300 feet deep nallah near Basti area, resulting into injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals rescued the injured persons. All the injured persons were shifted to Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah, from where two injured persons have been referred to GMC Jammu.
The injured have been identified as driver Bilal Ahmed (30), son of Abdul Rehman Gojal, Mohammad Muzamil (20), son of Abdul Majeed Bhat, both residents of Chakka and Farooq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Rasool Parry, a resident of Nalthi Bhaderwah.
Police has taken the cognizance in the matter.
