SAMBA, Dec 26: Bari Brahmana police displayed act of honesty by handing over the lost wallet to the owner.
As per police spokesman, a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana comprising of SgCt Sarabjeet Singh, Sgct Vijay Suman, Constable Ravinder Singh, Constable Varinder Kumar and Constable Sham Lal while on patrolling duty at industrial area, Kartholi-Sarore Adda Bari-Brahmana found a wallet containing Rs 25,700 cash, one signed cheque of Rs 63,000, Debit Card, Pan Card and Aadhar Card.
On verification by the police, the lost wallet has been handed over to its owner namely Majedur Rehman, son of Asena Khatun of Rishipur, Uttar Dinajpur West Bengal, at present industrial area Bari Brahmana by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
