JAMMU, Jan 11: A deputation of Mohalla Development Committee, Doordarshan Lane, Old Janipur, Jammu, led by its president, Advocate Khilari Lal Kouran met with higher officials of PDD, PHE Department and JMC and apprised them of their problems.
The deputation members met PHE Department AEE, TR Sharma and told him about the need to water pipes, taps, etc. in the area. The officer assured them to redress their issues.
Thereafter, they met Executive Engineer, EM&RE, 1st Division Parade, Jammu, and appealed him for replacing old and damaged electric poles. The officer gave on spot directions to the officials concerned to do the needful at an earliest without wasting time.
Likewise, the committee members approached Health officer of JMC, Salgotra and appealed to redress the drainage and sanitation issue in the Mohalla. The officer assured them to do her level best in addressing the problems of the Mohalla as early as possible.
