JAMMU, Mar 12: A deputation of All J&K Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees’ Association under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik, president of the association met Sajjad Lone, Minister for ARI, Stationery and Printing and apprised him of the demands of the employees.
The main demands that were discussed with the Minister include modification of SRO-365 and reintroduction of SRO-405, maintaining combined seniority list of Executive Cadre and Ministerial Cadre, filling up of vacant posts of Section Officer/ Deputy Superintendents/ Storekeeper and Class IV at an earliest and opening up of Sub-Stationery Depots in the newly created districts.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation members and assured the delegation that early action in the matter will be taken out to sort out the grievances of the employees.
