Cong to lead next Govt in J&K: MLC

NOWSHERA, Oct 24: Chief spokesperson of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and MLC Ravinder Sharma has said that Congress will emerge single largest party and lead next Government in the Jammu and Kashmir State.
Addressing large gathering in a function held here today in connection with the joining of many people, the Congress legislator said Congress is the only secular force in Jammu and Kashmir and it would emerge as single largest party in the State in next elections. He said that Congress Party would also lead the next Government in the State.
Mr Sharma lashed out at BJP for exploiting various emotional issues during elections and made false promises which can never be fulfilled. He held BJP responsible for compromising the interests of Jammu region by secret understanding with Kashmir based parties for personal gains. He cautioned the people against such false propaganda of BJP in the ensuring Assembly elections in the State.
The MLC referred to various achievements of the present NC-Congress Coalition Government and said that Congress always advocated genuine cause of all the three regions and stood for justice and equitable development of all the three regions. He said that the Congress is committed for the balanced and equitable development of three regions of the State and this is the reason many people are joining Congress. Master Som Nath, Masood Choudhary and Mian Khan also spoke on the occasion.
