KATRA, Nov 12: Police today arrested a bootlegger from holy town Katra and seized 15 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
During patrolling duty by the officials of Police Station Katra in the town, the Police team intercepted the accused at Railway Chowk Katra and recovered 15 polly pouches of J&K Excise, 250/250 ml each, from his possession.
Police seized the recovered liquor pouches and arrested the bootlegger, identified as Tilak Raj of Agharjittoo, tehsil Katra. In this connection, a case FIR/No: 214/17 U/S 188 RPC has been registered at P/S Katra.
