Army, FTII train youth in ‘Mobile Film Making’

JAMMU, Dec 30: Army in collaboration with Films and Television Institute of India (FTIl), Pune organised third time Mobile Film Making Course for the youth of Baramulla under their flagship programme-Skilling in Films and Television (SKIFT).
The course was conducted from Dec 20-30 for 22 Kashmiri youth having flair for Mobile Film Making by the local unit of Rashtriya Rifles of Himalayan Brigade under the aegis of Army’s Dagger Division.
The course culminated with a befitting function where the short films made by students were screened.
The event was graced by Maj Gen G.S Rawat, GOC Dagger Division, faculty members of FTIl, Pune, dignitaries from civil and district administration besides senior Army and Police officers.
Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Rawat said that short films made by youth of Baramulla will be showcased at Winter Youth Festival being organised in the near future at Gulmarg where they will get an excellent opportunity to display their skills.
