JAMMU, July 8: All J&K Patwar Association (AJKPA) postponed its provincial body election, which was scheduled to be held here today.

According to a spokesperson of AJKPA, as the lists of delegates framed by some of the district presidents were found irregular and against the constitution of AJKPA by the observers, the association decided to postpone the election till rectification of lists is done.
Meanwhile, the association decided that the present provincial body of Jammu province headed by Mustaq Ahmed Ganaie shall perform its responsibilities till the new body is elected.
