JAMMU, July 16: A State Level Membership Workshop was organized by ABVP at Geeta Bhawan, here today.
In this workshop, ‘karyakartas’ of ABVP from all over the State participated.
A poster regarding demands of ABVP was also launched in this workshop.
ABVP has decided to enroll 59200 members including students and teachers during membership campaign starting from August 15, 2017 to September 15, 2017.
Before starting membership on August 15, there will be meetings and workshops at district level from July 20 to August 15. From August 15 to August 31, there will be membership in Schools only and from September 1 to September 15, there will be membership in Colleges and Universities.
The membership fees will be Rs. 5 for Students and Rs. 100 for Teachers.
Speaking at the workshop, State Secretary Varsha Jandial said that the aim of ABVP is National Reconstruction and it can be possible only by joining youth with the nationalistic movement namely Akhil Bharti Vidharthi Parishad (ABVP).
Paavan Vivek from Kathua and Deepak Gupta from Jammu will be Membership In-charge and Membership Convener, respectively.
In this workshop, State President Ishvar Shard and State Organizing Secretary Jeet Singh also guided the karyakartas.
