RAJOURI, Jan 20: The police nabbed four drug-peddlers and recovered huge quantity of drugs of toxic nature from their possession here this evening.
Sources said that sleuths of Special Operation Group (SOG), under the supervision of SSP Rajouri Suleman Choudhary developed some information about the movement of drug peddlers and laid a naka near Panja Chowk on University Road this evening and nabbed four youth. The police recovered some drugs from their possession and some more consignment at their instance later.
The arrested peddlers were identified as Fayaz Shah, son of Kamil Shah, resident of Dannidhar; Amit Sharma, son of Chet Ram, resident of Bal Jarala; Sunny Sharma, son of Kuldeep Raj from Dangri and Suraj Bhardwaj, son of Kuldeep Raj-II, resident Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri. The police has registered a case against them. Some more arrests are likely during the night, the police said.
