JAMMU, Dec 28: Principal Sessions Judge Poonch, Jaffer Hussain Beigh today acquitted Ghulam Fareed, son of Ghulam Mohd and Anayat Ullah, son of Qutub Din, who were facing trial in kidnapping and rape case registered in February 2006.
After hearing both the sides, the Court observed, “the prosecution case with respect to these accused is doubtful and is not believable”.
Thus, the accused Ghulam Fareed and Annayat Ullah were acquitted by giving them the benefit of doubt.
