Srinagar, Dec 28: Deputy Inspector General of Police, central Kashmir range S A Mujtaba today inaugurated a District Level Football Tournament organized by Police at Harnambal Stadium in Natipora here.
A police spokesman said twelve Football clubs from District Srinagar are participating in the tournament.
Mujtaba said that the purpose of organizing such tournament is to offer a platform for our talented youth for showing their mettle. He said that the winner of this District level football tournament will qualify for the next tier of Range level football tournament.
Among others who attended the inaugurate ceremony were SSP Srinagar Amit Kumar, SP Headquarters, SDPO Sadder and respectable of the area.
