RAJOURI, Mar 17: Excise sleuths during raids at various villages in the district today seized 120 kg of Lahan, 12 liters of illicit liquor and arrested two persons in this connection.
Official sources said that the team from Excise Range Rajouri led by Insp Mohd Parvez conducted raids at village Muradpur, Agrati, Chingus, Narian, Phata Lam and other locations and seized 12 liters of illicit liquor and 120 kg of Lahan. Two persons namely -Shatto Ram and Bittu Kumar, both residents of Agarati were also arrested under Excise Act. The seized Lahan was destroyed on the spot.
