JAMMU, Mar 17: Jammu University Students Association (JUSA), a confluence of different students bodies of the Varsity, today extended its support to ongoing token strike of Jammu University non-teaching and non-gazetted  employees.
While extending its support Nishant Gupta, convener JUSA said that it is highly condemnable that the Vice Chancellor has remained indifferent and shown no concern to the lawful demands of agitating employees who are on strike for the last 15 days.
Gupta said that students cannot remain unconcerned of the strike in the varsity campus, as they are affected of the strike and moreover, when the justified demands of the employees are shown no concern by the VC, the students cannot sit as mute spectator.
Another student leader Rishikesh stressed that it is a failure of the VC to resolve the long pending and genuine issues of the students and employees and keeping high standards of morality, VC must immediately vacate the chair.
