Yuva Rajput Sabha condemns NC for opposing resolution on Maharaja

JAMMU, Jan 28:  Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS), in its meeting today,  condemned  National Conference for its walkout from the Upper House against  declaring 23rd September  as gazetted holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
The meeting was chaired by president Yuva Sabha, Surinder Singh Gilli, at head office Bantalab,
President YRS opposed all the members of National Conference who walked out from Upper House against the passage of historic resolution and thanked  MLA Nagrota, Davinder Singh Rana and others for supporting the resolution.
Gilli further added some of the members of political parties,  like National Conference, were  trying to play with the sentiments of the Jammu people and they continue this from the date of independence of India. “And if they continue all these type of activities and play with the sentiments of the Jammu people,  then all Hindus and Jammu region people will stage protest against National Conference and its leadership who play with the sentiments of the Jammu people,  he said.
Gilli said that that Maharaja Hari Singh was the one who finished  unsociability in the State, provides proper education to all the sections of the society, finished child marriage and initiated many other reforms in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. “But those persons and leaders,  who divide Jammu and Kashmir on the basis of religion and region, are being revered and holiday announced on their birthday,” he said without naming anyone.
The meeting was attended by  Rajinder, Davinder, Fentu, Vicky, Praveen, Raghuveer, Kaku, Komal, Happy, Mahesh, Manja Manhas, Rajveer, Pushvinder, Tinna, Prem  and  others.
