JAMMU, Mar 24: A 28-year-old youth died today after he was ran over by a train at 94.9 Km in Channi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the youth identified as Pawan Koul son of Pran Nath Koul, resident of Channi Himmat, was killed on the spot this morning after he was ran over by Ahmedabad Express at 94.9 Km.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, the spokesman said, adding, a case in this connection was registered at police station GRP Jammu. He further informed that the deceased youth was allegedly having some psychiatric problem.
