JAMMU, Jan 10: An 18-year old youth today found hanging with fan in Gangyal area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Paramjeet Singh son of Hardeep Singh, resident of Khour Dullian, RS Pura. “Presently he was residing with his mother in a rented accommodation in Sector 3 in Gangyal area”, he said.
The police official said that he was found hanging this morning when his mother was out of house. He said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. “After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, in this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at police station Gangyal.
