JAMMU, Sept 22: A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
As per reports, a youth identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of village Senswa, tehsil Hiranagar, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his home.
Noticing him unconscious, family members shifted him to Hiranagar hospital, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). At GMC Hospital, the youth failed to respond to the treatment and died.
Police has registered a case and started investigation to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
