JAMMU, Aug 26: A youth was attacked with sharp edged weapon by three to four miscreants at Jewel, here today.
According to a police spokesman, a 20-year-old youth namely Aman Sharma son of Joginder Sharma, resident of Jewel near Rani Temple, was attacked by three to four youth with sharp edged weapon at former’s residence.
In the attack, the youth received injury in his right hand. He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. A case in this connection was registered at police station Nowabad and investigations started.
Though one of the accused was identified as Sikander alias Abhi son of Sham Lal, resident of Samba (at present Chand Nagar) but no arrest could be made by the police till the last reports came in.
