JAMMU, Jan 29: A young housewife was among two allegedly tried to end their life by consuming some poisonous substance at Bishnah.
As per reports, 20-year-old Sushma, wife of Tarseem of RS Pura allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and was found unconscious at Bishnah.
On getting information, police team from Bishnah police station rushed to the spot and shifted her to nearby hospital.
She was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
In another incident, 25-year-old Krishan Kumar, son of Shanker Dass of Bishnah made an abortive attempt to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members shifted him to Bishnah Hospital.
He was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
Case have been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
