Yoga need of life: Sat Sharma

JAMMU, June 11: Vichar Kranti Manch International (VKMI) and Kaivelya Dhama Lonavala Pune celebrated International Day of Yoga at Geeta Mandir Smriti Bhawan here.  Sat Sharma (CA), Minister for  Housing and Urban Development was the chief gust on the occasion.
Vikram Randhawa, MLC presided over  the programme and Dr D.L. Choudhary, Director Yoga Department of Central University, Dr TR Raina formal HoD, Blood Bank SMGS Hospital Jammu,  Rattan Lal Mahajan, president Warehouse and Nehru Market Federation, Dr Deepak Kapoor, chairman Smriti Bhawan and  Dalip Sharma, Deputy Comdt BSF were the guests of honour.
Ashok Gupta, vice president, VKMI welcomed the dignitaries and apprised the participants of the significance of celebrations of International Yoga Day.   Shreyansh Kumar Jain, president VKMI highlighted activities and programmes of VKMI besides the history of having worked with research work of Kairlya Dhama.
Sat Sharma, chief guest appreciated the initiative taken by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for starting International Day of Yoga in the world and applauded the role of VKMI in propagating Yoga  in the State, country and other parts of the world. He stressed that it has been acknowledged universally because it cultivates in a man all the values like indomitable will, deep understanding, healthy habits, noble-ideology and right thinking.
Vikram Randhawa, who presided over the function, offered his services for fulfilment of aims and objectives of VKMI.  Dr T.R. Rainia displayed Yoga with technique of elevation of vital energy.
Dr D.L. Choudhary explained about the activities of Central University in the field of Yoga.  CM Sharma general secretary presented vote of the thanks.
