JAMMU, July 12: Former IGP and BJP State spokesman, SS Bijral today said that the political parties protesting and blaming Centre and Coalition Government in State for the terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims is sheer politicization of this gruesome incident.
“The need of hour is to see wounds as wounds and restrain from politicizing them”, he added. He said that it was for the first time that NDA Government under PM Narendra Modi has taken to challenge terrorism, the State policy of Pakistan, with Pakistan getting isolated globally.
This Government has given mandate to Commanders on borders to befittingly respond the enemy without waiting for nod from political leadership, he said and asserted that NIA having tightened its noose around terrorism supporters enjoying unchecked terrorist funding.
He said that with a strong leadership at helm we are entering into a decisive stage. Bijral said when political parties link these enemy strikes as political failing, they need to know, that they are discouraging armed forces and police since engaged in bloody proxy war, with another country, through their blood and sweat.
“Ignoring this, they will not escape public eye of suspicion”, Bijral said. “Let’s stand by them and not belittle their sacrifices realising that more the enemy gets determined, far more we need to be united and striking”, he further added.
