JAMMU, Mar 28: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Soma Devi (65) wife of Chuni Lal, a resident of Hira Nagar, was shifted here at GMCH with serious burn injuries, which she sustained at her residence in a fire incident.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 12.55 PM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
