JAMMU, Mar 16: A woman who had consumed some poisonous substance at her residence in Janipur area, today passed away at Government Medical College and Hospital during treatment.
According to a police spokesman, Kiran Devi (24) wife of Rohit Sharma, resident of Patoli (Janipur) was admitted here at GMCH on March 14 after she consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
“After battling with the life for three days, she expired today at about 1 AM”, the spokesman said, adding, after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was today handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
